Jefferson City - Today in a pathetic attempt to explain away bad poll numbers, Senator McCaskill held a conference call today filled with vitriol and desperation.

“ As a recent poll shows, voters still have significant concerns about Senator Obama’s fundamental lack of experience and judgment, his naïve and divisive statements, and his failure to lead on key issues that matter most to Missourians,” said Tina Hervey communications director of Missouri Republican Party. “Obama has continuously shown that he is neither qualified to lead our country, nor prepared to unite us. His own vice-presidential nominee has expressed concern over Obama’s thin record of accomplishment and misguided intentions to meet in the first year of his would-be presidency with leaders of countries that are state sponsors of terror.”  

"While Obama talks about change, he has nothing to show for it.  And Missourians’ concerns will not be erased with a lofty speech or the opening of 30 offices,” said Hervey.
