JEFFERSON CITY – Claire McCaskill is opposing an effort to help lower the price of gasoline over the long term and reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil because “it doesn’t make any sense.”

McCaskill made her outrageous comment during an interview on Al Franken’s liberal radio program in which she clearly opposed exploring for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
