Bob Holden: the King of Spam

JEFFERSON CITY -
The Missouri Republican Party is
calling on Bob Holden to stop using the taxpayer-financed state computer
system to send thousands of politically motivated spam emails to state
employees and private citizens.

"Using the state
computer system to send political spam violates Missourians? belief that
their hard-earned tax money is being used wisely," said Paul Sloca,
communications director for the Missouri Republican Party. "Bob Holden is
clearly using the system for his own political benefit. The governor should
do the right thing and put his political spam back in the can."

The email is yet
another example of Holden?s disregard for spending Missourians? money.
Holden forked out more than $1 million on a lavish inaugural at a time when
the state budget was crumbling and then spent thousands of dollars on jet
fuel so he could use the state airplane to satisfy his every whim.

"Bob Holden has a sad
record of wasting taxpayer money," Sloca said. "This latest abuse is just
another reason why it?s time for Missourians to elect a fiscally responsible
Republican governor this fall."
