We Need You! For Get Out The Vote Juggernaut

Turnout has been the key to victory for Missouri Republicans. That is why the Missouri Republican Party is calling on the GOP faithful across the Show Me State to join us as we enter the final phase of our Get Out The Vote effort better known as the 72-Hour Program that begins Friday.

If you have yet to make your commitment – TODAY is the day to sign up!

With less than one week remaining, NOW is the time to show your support by pledging to be a part of one of the largest grassroots campaigns in Missouri’s history.

We kicked off our Get-Out-the-Vote program this past weekend and already we have exceeded the number of voters contacted during the same time frame in 2004. Each day people just like you are talking to family, friends and neighbors over the phone and at their doors, making that one-on-one personal contact that will make the difference for all Republicans on Tuesday.

Every vote counts – every volunteer makes a difference! Please donate what you can of your time to help shape Missouri’s future. Sign up online at www.mogop.org or email our volunteer coordinator Mika Schrimpf. One by one we will make a difference!

President Coming to Springfield, Joplin Friday

President Bush will be in Springfield and Joplin on Friday to rally Missourians in advance of Tuesday’s elections. Missouri Republicans are going to sprint to the finish line and the President needs our help on behalf of Sen. Jim Talent, State Auditor candidate Sandra Thomas, our members of Congress and our members of the Missouri Legislature. Please join the President in Springfield at the Springfield Expo Center or at Southern State College in Joplin. You can make a difference!

Kerry’s Insult Reflects on His Friend McCaskill

John Kerry’s insult against our brave men and women in the military and the families of those who have lost loved ones protecting our nation reflects directly on his close friend Claire McCaskill. Kerry refused to apologize for telling students in California on Monday that young Americans without an education will “get stuck in Iraq” and McCaskill took issue with the slanderous remarks only after the Missouri Republican Party called on her to do so. McCaskill’s feeble attempt to ignore Kerry’s comments for more than a day were no doubt linked to the more than $280,000 Kerry’s various PACs have contributed to McCaskill’s Senate campaign. McCaskill even praised Kerry on her website in 2004: “It is time for a change of leadership in Washington, and I am excited to be a part of making that happen.” Missourians should be concerned that a Democrat victory next Tuesday would mean that Kerry would be responsible for shaping military and defense policy while exerting political pressure on McCaskill to support an irresponsible left-wing agenda that is in direct conflict with common-sense Missouri values.
