Her spokesperson responded that the only thing McCaskill is concerned about right now is winning. Gary Ruskin, director of the Congressional Accountability Project called her response “completely inadequate”. Documents have shown that McCaskill’s estimated worth is between $13 million and $30 million, with the low end of that estimate making her wealthier than 90 percent of United States Senators. In recent debates requests were made for McCaskill to release both her and her husband’s tax returns, in the same way that Senator Jim Talent and his wife Brenda released theirs. Records show McCaskill failed to pay property taxes for three years on a condominium that was eventually put up for auction by the county. Records also show that McCaskill's millionaire husband didn't pay taxes in 1995. McCaskill's failure to publicly release her family's tax returns continues to raise nagging questions about what the documents will show. McCaskill has also failed to disclose to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics statutorily required information about the sources, value, liabilities and actual income of her family's multi-million-dollar fortune. McCaskill’s arrogance and secrecy toward the people of Missouri show that she does not understand our common-sense, conservative values. She has shown a complete failure to be open and honest with Missourians during her campaign. How can we trust that she will stand up for our Missouri values in Washington, DC? Governor Blunt Named #1 in NationGovernor Matt Blunt was the only governor in the nation to receive the highest score on the CATO Institute’s fiscal policy report card. “Blunt is the only governor this year to receive the grade of A for cutting his state's budget, eliminating hundreds of government jobs and restraining Medicaid spending,” according to a release issued by the CATO Institute today. The latest report card grades 46 governors on 23 objective measures, awarding the highest grades to those who have reined in spending and cut taxes. This kind of national recognition, along with Missouri’s near record-low unemployment rate and the creation of almost 55,000 jobs in the last two years, shows how successful Governor Blunt has been in boosting our economy without raising taxes. Montee’s Record of Reckless Over-SpendingPlatte County Auditor Sandra Thomas, CPA is the Republican candidate for State Auditor in the General Election. She has served as the Platte County Auditor for 12 years, winning national awards for her responsible, common-sense management of that office. She was named the "Outstanding CPA in Government" by the Missouri Society of CPAs and holds two degrees in accounting from Missouri universities. Susan Montee is the Democrat candidate for State Auditor. She has failed to submit simple forms to the Missouri Secretary of State’s office for her own law firm where she works as a trial attorney. She has failed to solve the problem of over $733,000 in accumulated vacation and holiday time in the Buchanan County sheriff’s department while she served as the county's auditor and even submitted a woefully unbalanced budget as auditor with a county deficit of $650,000. After many years of Democrat mismanagement in the governor’s office in Missouri we were left with a staggering debt of $1 billion. Luckily Governor Blunt has pulled us out of that disaster, and now our state has a surplus. Montee has managed to run Buchanan County into $650,000 in debt in just six short years. With that kind of track record the choice is clear – Sandra Thomas is the only candidate this November who we can trust to be our State Auditor. Hundreds of Students Rally for Senator Talent
Justin Smith, President of the Missouri College Republicans, also attended the event. He said, “I support Senator Talent because he's the best candidate. I really like what he's done with bipartisan legislation on methamphetamine and the energy bill. I think he's brought his conservative values to Washington and made a difference." Governor Blunt Breaks Ground on Crisis NurseryTuesday Governor Matt Blunt and First Lady Melanie Blunt joined community leaders in the Ozarks to break ground for the new Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks. The nursery will offer care for children from birth until the age of 12 if there are problems in the home. Families in need will also be provided with counseling, support and education. This summer Governor Blunt signed SB1229 which creates a tax credit for donations made to crisis advocacy centers or crisis care centers. This legislation will work as an added incentive to those donating to these organizations which help so many families in need. Governor Blunt said, “The Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks is an excellent example of the state and the private sector partnering together to help children during their time of need. Crisis nurseries have proven to be effective tools in preventing child abuse and neglect.” Yard Signs and Volunteer Opportunities

If you would like to show your support for Senator Talent, Sandra Thomas – candidate for State Auditor, or any local Republican candidates you can pick up yard signs at one of our Victory GOP headquarters or call 573-636-3146 for the nearest GOP headquarters near you. Million Voter-Contact Mark ExceededThe Republican election ground war has been in full swing for months now and last week we reached a milestone. Our hardworking volunteers and 72-hour team led by Tyler O’Connor and Miriam Stonebreaker have contacted more than 1 million registered voters by phone and in person to help build momentum for our Republican candidates. This historic milestone is part of our unparalleled grassroots efforts to promote our Republican candidates and ensure that our voters show up at the polls on Election Day on November 7. Just last month, thousands of volunteers and candidates participated in the highly successful “Show Me Red” weekend that served as a trial run for our vaunted 72-hour program that has been instrumental in helping Missouri Republicans realize historic election gains in recent years. Our hardworking and tireless Republican volunteers are taking our message directly to voters on a staggering scale and their efforts on the political frontlines have steadily built the kind of momentum that will help our candidates this year. Just two short years ago, our efforts helped paint Missouri red. With this kind of commitment and dedication from our volunteers, we’re planning on adding a second coat of red on November 7th.
