Liberal Teresa Hensley opposes repeal of Obamacare

July 11, 2012

In case you needed further proof that liberal Teresa Hensley is unelectable in the conservative 4th Congressional District, the Nevada Daily Mail is reporting today that Hensely opposes the repeal of the job-killing, tax-raising Obamacare law.

Hensley’s position in support of Obamacare is far outside the mainstream of CD 4—a district that voted 74% for Proposition C, the Health Care Freedom Act, in August 2010.

To put this in perspective: even Ike Skelton, whom voters ousted for being too liberal, opposed Obamacare’s passage in Congress.  He also voted in favor of Proposition C.

“Teresa Hensley’s opposition to repealing Obamacare once again shows just how out-of-touch she is from the hard-working, conservative Missourians in the 4th District,” said Lloyd Smith, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party.  “This November, voters will have the opportunity to reject the reckless big government agenda of Barack Obama and Teresa Hensley once and for all.”
