MOGOP Statement on Joe Biden’s visit to Missouri

Lloyd Smith, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party, released the following statement prior to Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to raise money for Claire McCaskill:

“It’s not surprising that Barack Obama would dispatch his top deputy, Joe Biden, to Missouri to raise money for Claire McCaskill.  After all, McCaskill was one of the president’s earliest and most vocal supporters, and she has been a reliable rubberstamp vote for his job-killing liberal agenda.  In fact, McCaskill cast the deciding vote to force Obamacare on the nation and Missouri, and she has voted with the president 95% of the time since 2010.

“The catastrophic results of the Obama-McCaskill record were made apparent once again on Friday with the release of a dismal jobs report, which showed that the nation had the worst quarter of job creation in two years.  It is now clearer than ever that we need to replace Barack Obama and Claire McCaskill with strong, conservative leaders who understand the free market and will work every day to put Missourians back to work.”
