Upset with Washington? McCaskill doesn’t see what the fuss is about

Millions of Missourians are frustrated with Washington’s out-of-control spending, the inflexible mandates in the federal health care bill, the hundreds of billions of dollars wasted on the so-called stimulus bill, the fact that Democrats refused to pass a budget, and the Democrats’ countless other transgressions—but Claire McCaskill doesn’t see what all the fuss is about.

According to a recent interview in The Oregonian, McCaskill blames Americans for being “wrapped around this notion that things have gone crazy in Washington.”

“Most Missourians are understandably frustrated and upset with the reckless spending and overreach from national Democrats like Claire McCaskill.  But McCaskill doesn’t believe that anything is wrong with Washington—in fact, she thinks everyone else is ‘wrapped around this notion that things have gone crazy,’” said Lloyd Smith, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party.  “McCaskill is so busy shilling for the Obama agenda that she no longer believes that government takeovers, tax increases, soaring debt, and out-of-control spending are ‘crazy.’ But the rest of us know crazy when we see it.”

Since she got to Washington, McCaskill has been part of the problem—voting lockstep with the liberal agenda.

From the disastrous federal health care bill to the wasteful so-called stimulus bill to allowing the EPA to levy arcane regulations, McCaskill has blindly supported nearly every aspect of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda.  In doing so, she has turned her back on the overwhelming majority of Missourians who oppose the reckless liberal agenda.
