Missouri GOP unveils new text messaging program

The Missouri Republican Party has launched MYGOP MOBILE, a text messaging platform that allows Missourians to stay in touch with the GOP in an entirely new way.  MYGOP MOBILE subscribers will receive news and information about Republican candidates and elected official, as well as special events and action alerts.

“As Democrats continue to ignore will of the people, more Missourians than ever are receptive to Republican ideas.  But the Missouri GOP must take our case to people from all walks of life, whether it is through traditional means like door-to-door or new methods like text messaging.  Now, getting the latest news and information from the Missouri Republican Party is as simple as texting SHOWME to MYGOP (69467),” said David Cole, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party.  “Our efforts—both online and offline—will lead to a more competitive and focused GOP that is better able to communicate our message, challenge liberal ideas, and win elections.”

Over the past year, the Missouri Republican Party has focused on increasing the efficiency and efficacy of how we communicate and interact with Missourians.  Already, we have increased our presence online via several new communications platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr.
