Has anyone seen Robin Carnahan?

For months, Robin Carnahan has refused to give substantive answers to the most pressing issues facing Missourians today, preferring instead to remain silent and allow others to do the work.  But now, her farcical campaign somehow managed to become even more ridiculous.  Over the Independence Day weekend, Carnahan seems to have gone missing.

After refusing to talk about where she is on the issues, Robin Carnahan now refuses to even talk about where she is.  What’s going on here?

Perhaps Carnahan is avoiding the mounting criticism over the job-killing,price-raising Cap and Trade bill that she supported.  Maybe she’s ducking questions about how she was “helpful” in a lawsuit that ended with ACORN receiving $450,000 in taxpayer money from the state of Missouri.  Or she could be embarrassed that national Democrats—including Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, and Steny Hoyer—are now admitting that the Carnahan-backed stimulus package was a mistake.

Regardless of the reason, Robin Carnahan owes Missourians answers to some serious questions on the issues.
