Sen. Bond defends CIA from Pelosi’s political attacks

Sen. Bond, the ranking Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, appeared on the Today Show and MSNBC’s Morning Joe to dispute Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s outrageous claim that the CIA lied to her about its interrogation techniques. Pelosi, who had maintained for months that she had not received any CIA briefing, went even further, alleging that the CIA lied to Congress “all the time.”

Bond called Pelosi’s statements “unbelievable” and “flat wrong,” and said that it’s a “tragedy that we are seeing this massive attack on an intelligence community which has kept us safe.”
